Passes time with such an addictive game

Still confused that I lost my progress when I added my picture. Probably altered something in my profile. Still hard when 1700+ drops to 1. And this time Facebook or candy Crush out of the clear blue asked if I wanted to continue as "my first name" which sounded okay to me but wiped out my progress and I was again at square 1. So Im starting again with the resolve to buy nothing no matter what since I seem to be penalized repeatedly.
